The Fault in our Stars – By John Green
The Fault in our Stars has me rethinking everything- should scrambled eggs be a typecasted breakfast? What happens to the hamster at the end of the book?
This is an amazing work of both heartwarming and heartbreaking times, with the embellishment of the real-based and devastating cancer stories.
My favourite line is the book was “Caroline is no longer suffering from Personhood,” because it was the cleverest use of words, with just the right amount of quirkiness.
Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace Lancaster go together on a remarkable journey with many twists and turns, like horrible authors with great books, drinking champagne for the first time, Cancer Perks, and so much more. And of course, Sisyphus the hamster. These two become an inseparable duo whose bond will warm your soul. I got so attached to Hazel and Gus, and I think this book is easily one of the best I’ve read.
